Project Description
REALISATIONS OF AIRTELIS
SGGAC Training – September to mid-December 2019 (11 weeks) – Training of 3 pilots for load-lifting techniques
Requirement
SGGAC, subsidiary of the Chinese State Grid, with a staff of 600 , consisting of 60 pilots, with a fleet of 29 helicopters.
SGGAC’s objective was to execute load-lifting operations independent from outside assistance. With this in view, the objective of SGGAC was to increase the level of competency of its pilots in relation to load-lifting techniques by means of training 3 new pilots, with the formation of the « Promo Bravo ».
Proposition
The registration of 3 pilots would enable 2 load-lifting teams to be set up in an emergency situation, in order to transport loads, (equipment for repairs, cable drums, etc.) in total autonomy. The pilot training took place at the following locations : in Avignon, at Saillagouse at the CVM (flight and mountain centre « ALAT ») and in Aubenas. The 3 pilots followed a load-lifting training in two stages, HESLO 1 over 6 weeks then a further training, HESLO 2 and 3 which lasted 5 weeks.
At the end of this period, the 3 pilots were awarded with their training certificates indicating their capacity to deal with load-lifting operations for all types of terrain, including that of mountainous areas.
